The bird to bring the heart

The cardboard d-torso Pigeon110 was originally designed for a wedding here in our office, a former elementary school surrounded by rivers and the mountains in Oita, Japan.

For the wedding, we attached the d-torso Pigeon to a number of colorful balloons and released it flying and celebrating the new couple. A d-torso Pigeon was also presented to each person in attendance, who then brought them back to their homes.

The new husband and wife are both graduates of the University of the Arts, and the wedding was planned and designed by their friends. It was cheerful and filled with joy, smiles and laughter. It was our pleasure to be a part of such a heart-warming event.

Now we hope that this Pigeon brings peace, smiles and happiness not only to the new couple, but also to people all over the world. If it can do so, then that is our goal.

The groom is a product designer, the bride is an artist, and both graduated from the University of the Arts. They had a warm, hand-made wedding party with their loved ones in the former elementary school here in Kunisaki, Oita, Japan. The new couple pronouncing their vows in front of the d-torso EVE, while parents, relatives and friends watch from the terrace—this is "the d-torso wedding."
